Found in only one location, Glenn Archer discovered this beautiful material while prospecting around his Mookaite claim. Interestingly enough, this material is technically opalized radiolarite. Radiolarians are microfossils with a siliceous shell that are part of the zooplankton and live in the first 200 meters of the water column. They even made a TV series on this material back in 2016! Pink Opal has been discovered around the world as well, most formidably in Peru and Mexico. This material has a hardness similar to gem grade turquoise, about 5.5-6.0 on the Mohs scale.
