Found in a steep canyon, just north of the small sleepy town of San Cristobal, MX is where the Royal Imperial Jasper claim is found. This is one of the 5 Fine Jaspers (Morrisonite, Bruneau, Blue Mountain and Willow Creek) and it's known for its 'egg like' orbital patterning. This is what differentiates it from Imperial Jasper and makes it ROYAL. Unlike most of the jaspers found in this canyon, this was formed in nodules. I was lucky to acquire this small batch of rough, and so happy to offer these to you!
