I love seeing something new or different in the rock world. My latest batch of White River, from the turquoise mines in Hubei has some truly spectacular patterns and colors I've not seen before! This gemstone is part of the Lavender Hubei family and while it's not a turquoise, it does contain the rare mineral hotsonite. The only other area this is found near turquoise is in Nevada. The colors range from the famous periwinkle blue and flow into shades of sage with current-like patterns juxtaposing spiderweb patterns with pools of color. There's even pinks and golds! I hope you find them as alluring as I do!
