Angel Wing Variscite. This obscure little claim out of Nevada has been passed along through several hands. It is said to have been named because an outcropping in the area looked just like angel wings! This year, the most recent owners were exploring the area and happened to discover a lone pocket that yielded some of the most incredible nodules of webbed, minty green and porcelain hard Variscite! Only a few hundred pounds came out, and less than that of the very highest grade. Efforts are currently being made to discover more, but as we know... Chances are slim.
